Refund & Replacement Policy
This policy explains what happens when a placement is lost, when money comes back, and how to raise either kind of request. It formalizes the refund stance in the Service Terms — replacement is the primary remedy for lost placements; refunds cover payments no work has been committed against.
1. Monthly billing, and when work is committed
Plans bill monthly, in advance, and campaign work begins after payment confirmation and completed onboarding. From that point the team commits real work against your cycle: placements are sourced, content is produced, and publisher commitments are made.
Because of that, the question for any request is simple: has work been committed against the payment yet?
2. Replacement — the remedy for lost placements
If a QA-verified placement is removed or materially altered within your plan’s replacement window, Rankvelto sources and delivers a replacement placement of comparable quality at no extra cost. Windows by plan:
- Starter — 30 days per placement
- Growth — 60 days per placement
- Authority — 90 days per placement
- Enterprise / Agency — custom terms as agreed
3. What replacement does not cover
- Changes you request to a live placement after delivery.
- Publisher-side edits that keep the link intact and functional.
- Placements whose replacement window has passed.
- Links affected by changes to your own site (moved or deleted target pages).
4. When a refund applies
Completed or committed work is not refundable unless the final agreement says otherwise. A refund review applies when:
- A cycle was charged in error (duplicate payment, wrong amount).
- Nothing has been committed against a payment — no sourcing, content, or publisher commitments have begun for the cycle.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where the payment processor supports it. Payments are handled by third-party processors, including cryptocurrency processors; processing times and network fees follow the processor’s rules, and cryptocurrency amounts are settled per the processor’s conversion terms at the time of refund.
6. How to raise a request
Open a ticket from your dashboard’s support section, or use the contact page if you can’t sign in. Include the campaign, the cycle or payment concerned, and — for replacements — the placement URL from your delivery tracker. Requests are reviewed against the dashboard’s delivery record, which is the official record of the service.
If you are considering a payment dispute or chargeback, contact the team first — most cases resolve faster through the dashboard, and the delivery record is what any dispute is evaluated against.
